77% of people in the world say: “It is essential that our government does whatever it takes to limit the effects of climate change”. We need to protect the planet for the next generation. But while we wait for government action, there are many things we can do as individuals to slow the damage being done to our Earth.
Nicole is a mother of 2 who has lived in Mission for the last 28 years. She is an avid outdoor person who taught an outdoor program at UFV. She took a sustainability course at SFU. Nicole ran for the Green Party in 2021; she is no longer involved in politics. |

Brynn Doeleman is the new Executive Director of the Mission Environmental Stewardship Society (MESS). Growing up in the Fraser Valley, she always had a love for nature and spending time in the sunshine. Over the course of her time spent at the University of the Fraser Valley, she developed a deep understanding of conservation biology and recognized the need for science communication & proper public education in our society. Following graduation with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, Brynn became involved with the MESS to build community, educate the public and enhance the natural beauty of Mission whilst doing so |

We work together as a group and create opportunities for members to return to school, gain employment, connect with their families, make new friends and create multiple successes. Through this environment of support, acceptance, and commitment to each other, Centennial Place is the perfect place for individuals to pursue mental wellness and improve their overall quality of life. |

We welcome all participants regardless of skill level. It is a scramble tournament (rules provided below). The day will include bag lunch and dinner, refreshments, games, 5050 and prizes, and much more, with all net proceeds going directly to important causes within our community including:
